MORITZ – The Heart of St. Moritz 2017
For the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2017 in St. Moritz, I had the opportunity to design Moritz the ibex, a mascot embodying the strength, charm, and alpine heritage of the region. His name was chosen during the 2016 World Cup Finals by a panel including Swiss ski racers, media representatives, and event organizers.
Moritz quickly became a fan favorite, energizing the finish area and connecting with spectators from around the globe.Whether celebrating victories or offering comfort in defeat, he brought warmth and unity to the championships.
