BMW IBU WORLD CUP BIATHLON

This logo was created to represent the unique duality of biathlon—the combination of endurance skiing and precision shooting. The interconnected circular forms symbolize target shooting, skiing dynamics, and global competition, while the gradient from deep to light blue reflects both focus and movement. Inspired by data visualization, range diagrams, and athlete telemetry, the design bridges sport tradition with modern digital aesthetics. It’s built for broadcast, digital, and live event use, aligning with BMW’s precision-driven brand partnership and the international scope of the IBU World Cup.

Note: Following an internal rebranding process, the IBU decided to unify its visual identity under the Federations logo. Nevertheless, this World Cup design remains an important part of the brand’s evolution, reflecting a modern, data-driven approach to biathlon’s global presentation.
